Source modifications
The MKSearch system is built around several other free, open source projects. The project also tries to maintain compatibility with the GNU Compiler for Java to avoid the so-called Java trap. In order to achieve compatibility, a number of source modifications have been applied to work around known bugs and limitations of the GCJ compiler. Several of the documentation pages below detail the changes that have been applied in the MKSearch source versions of these systems.
